Courier picked up my wheels Tuesday to deliver to lepsons Wednesday.

It is now Friday and they've rang me 3 times to keep me updated with what they've found and what they're doing etc. So at the minute their customer service is impeccable and the best I've ever dealt with!!

My wheels are due back Wednesday so I'll re post when I have them back. I have high hopes at the min!

Great news CJ :)

I'm in a position this month to tidy a few bits on the car (stone chips, wheel repaint etc) and I'll strongly consider Lepsons now after all the feedback here :)

Do you have photos of the work they've done for you?

Thought I'd chime in.

My car, which I bought a month ago has wheels that were refurbished at lepsons. The day before I went to see the car, it had one of the wheels repaired under warranty after the paint started to lift.

However, in the time I've had the car, the paint has lifted in patches on 3 of the wheels.

I contacted lepsons who have been apologetic and said they will repair the wheels under warranty (which expires today as it goes), and since I'm using this as an excuse to get some new rims, they will courier the wheels for me for free once they're off the car (rather than them having the car for 4 days.) They suggested that the black chrome paint finish may be the problem, that a small number of other customers have had issues with this finish, and that I can try another finish. I may go for a standard paint if its more durable, haven't decided yet.

Lets see how they get on.

Good excuse for some new wheels though! Will keep the others as spares/winter rims.

Just collected mine - I had black chrome twin tone before and have gone black chrome heavy on the silver - a touch more OEM. KDS did a Gtechniq Exo seal too.

They arranged a hire car for me as they double booked thier hire car out. They do 1100 wheels a week so fair play to their QC and service.

Can't fault their customer service...

Turnover is vanity. Profit is sanity. But either way, they have 65 staff, rent etc. but either way... It's a wedge.

Average 80 per wheel as the refurb cost won't include things like ancillary repairs; more nudging £352,000.00 PCM.

I had Lepson as my local refurbisher, do black chrome on my Impreza wheels back in 2001 and they were still good four years later when I sold it.

It's often that you see companies get bad reputations after they have been open a while as they start getting too big and lose their original values. But, back then, the finish was good.
