Thank god!

I can't be the only one who thinks this show has gone down the plug hole! Can you imagine the sheer cost to the licence fee payer for that Africa rubbish on it's own, let alone the rest of it :dung:

I don't watch too much telly mate, I'm mostly sports and films, which is why I get pissed off with this tripe when I'm forking out well over a hundred quid a year for the BBC :bash:

Things like the "Africa" series and Planet Earth are great, dont get me wrong the Top Gear show is reasonable entertainment for a Sunday evening but come on, they must get on your nerves also with their self importance!

Err... I'll think you'll find that top gear makes a considerble profit overall when you consider the worldwide syndication rights and repeats.
So it's actually making you're license fee *LOWER* by making the program.

self importance?
It's three midle aged blokes pissing about in cars.
Take it for what it is - an entertainment program that happens to feature cars.
I think it's been shown so many times that fact based car programs simply don't last.

If I want to watch a show that's about cars ill watch 5th gear. If I want a laugh ill watch top gear. That scene in the traffic jam was priceless.
