Parott Kit

Post by l1lbill » Tue Jan 22, 2013 7:53 pm

Sorry if this is in the wrong topic but after some help/advice. Just bought an mki9000 parott kit to put in my 05 S4 with RNSE. Some things i read say it is going to need the quadlock adapter, others say it will be ISO. I realise there may be no way to definitely know before taking it out but just wondered what its likely to be so I can have the lead ready if necessary.

Is there any other advice people can offer with regards to the removal and then subsequent fitting of the parott kit?

Thanks in advance.

Will

I think it's around then that they changed the Iso to quadlock connector. I guess the only safe way is to pop the head unit out and have a look. You may well be able to direct input with that head unit so no lead is required. The head unit normally had a Stickers labelling speaker input left/ right and mute. Give me a call on 01379 641111 during they day and I can explain it better.
