Post by R8ROB » Tue Jun 12, 2007 10:53 pm

Hi all

Im new here on this forum and just saying hello to everyone.

I dont own an RS 2, 4, or 6 or an R8 at that, but i do run an Audi R8 technical help and advice website. Feel free to have a look its.....

www.audi-r8help.com

My intentions are of a good and helpful nature, i do not intend to try and take people from this forum, just provide a free helpful and accurate R8 advice service.

Hopefully speak to alot of you all in the future

Hi and welcome,

Have no fear about defection - I think we are a loyal bunch on here. Would you be part of the dealer network then?

The only help I need regarding the R8 is how to buy one for 40K - any ideas

If the recent write ups are anything to go by then the machine is going to have a biblical reputation.

Cheers
Dazzer

Thanks for the warm welcome dazzer.

I am indeed part of the dealer network but run the R8 site in my own time.

If i knew how to get one of these lovelys for 40k, i would have one too.... ha ha ha ha

The R8 is going to be, if not already a legendary car. Im amazed by the outstanding write ups/reviews from everyone world wide! i have not read anything that says a bad word about R8. This is exciting times for audi and all that is involved with it.

That's for sure. EVO wouldn't rate anything above Porsche unless it was truly hardcore brilliant - it's almost like writing a thirteenth commandment....

He is a question for you R8ROB. Why is there not enough clearence between the clutch pedal and the transmission tunnel carpet to allow me to rest my left foot on the foot rest?

I cant honestly say i have not noticed the clearence between the clutch pedal and the tunnel. But There is not a huge amount of space in the pedal area due to the sports design of the vehicle and everything being that much smaller. If the vehicle was a left hand drive then yes there would be more room to play with. unfortunatly this is the problem we have when cars were origionally designed in left hand drive.
