Nice and understated
Steering wheel looks a bit complicated though!

s4woody wrote:insurance for the S4 was with noel dazely but although the same group they refused to insure me..i was payin around £640 for the S4..the beemer is £700 so not alot more..
as for fuel i put in £40 quid on mon nite drove back from birmingham and have used it everyday since and still have just over 1/4 tank so much like the S4..
and yes alps it has a sunroof..its fully loaded and the phone works which is kinda cool..saves on the points and fine for using it whilst driving..
woody, is it carbon black? its got the same interior leather colour as mine and goodboy going for the alu trim

Wow, how did you get £700 insurance? I was paying £400 on the S4 and now pay £1000 on the M5 through Adrian Fux
And for fuel, I cant get anything like the S4 for economy, doubt ill see 27mpg in my wildest dreams, long term average is 21mpg and ive never seen it go above 22mpg - maybe I drive too hard or somethings knackered, still got a diagnostics cable and software now so will give it the once over shortly just to check but from what i gather 22mpg is respectable. I definitely find it eats more petrol than the s4 and the tank is tiny. I take it you have a 2001 model cus you look like you have the upgraded satnav/tv screen

its carbon black and in certain light its blue..or its blue and in certain lite its carbon black..
its a 2001 model with all the upgrades..it was a BMW press car so came with every gadget they had..the sound system has DPS (digital processing sound) it has 2 massive bass speakers under the rear shelf and when you hit the volume button it blows ya bloody ears off..
yes the screen is upgraded to a 6 inch from a 3 i think..
the rear window has an electric screen and even the rear doors have em..ioncluding the little side windows..all very diplomatic..

ah thats interesting, i got the privacy glass on the back quarters so only got the blind for the rear window, one thing that really gets my goat though is NO REAR WINDOW WIPER - WHY FFS!? Nice spec though, what mileage are you on? Im rolling up to 79k which was where I got upto on the S4

What gains would a remapp make to an M5? I thought that non turbo cars would not see much of a gain from a remapp?
