Harris on the S3!

On pee'heads.

He loves it.

Best of all, he slates the cr@p out of the dire RS 3 which is great as I agree with everything he says about having run one for 9,000miles.

Simple.

It's an intermediate car between the A3 and upcoming RS 3. Won't blow you away but is very capable. Same as all S cars right?

Having borrowed Bath Audis RS 4 after Caring with Cars I was still pleasantly surprised how pokey the S3 was after getting back in it. Although the RS 4 was nicer (it had buckets and pan roof which made it for me) I certainly couldn't justify the premium over the S3.

S3 is cheap and still bloody quick. Can't beat a V8 though.

Don't get me wrong it handles the power very well, gearbox is very good, ride comfort is poor at best, and road noise isn't good, it just lacks something, my wife has the old s3, I have never liked it!!the ride is terrible, but it's mapped with race cats and full exhaust, and TBH it's more fun to drive, maybe the new one does all too well, if that makes any sense :bash:
