So I had my eye on the new merc c63 Amg s estate,I rang the merc dealer in Macclesfield to get a price on my high spec rs7 .To my surprise I was offered £40,000 so I started laughing my tits off ,so I said how can an rs 7 that cost £112,000 be worth £40,000 after 2 years. That's the price I've been under written. So at the end of the day the greedy <beep> garage who under written the car wants to make £15,000 profit.This is why they live in mansions. Boils my piss

WOW, that's a sore one. They are all at it though. I bought a £34k X1 had it less than 6 months (5K miles) and got £20k against my RS6. Ok I did not pay £34k for it I got a good bit of discount but flaming hell they are making huge profits.

Need to Shop around you must be able to get a better offer than that??

Can't be bothered trying again I'd rather keep it than trade it in with greedy garages

Blessing in disguise. Why would you want to swap such a lovely spec RS7 for that Merc! Just get it to MRC, make it louder/faster and enjoy!

What are you expecting trade in anyway? I know you've had it on at £55k. For what it's worth, if I were in the market for a used RS7, it's the one I'd buy. I'm unsure if people are appreciating the spec fully.

There's a nice one on Auto trader for 49k now.
