Just sold my SVR after nearly 2 years of ownership as was offered more than I paid for it.
Always loved the look of the RS6 and nearly bought one twice now.

Question, does the tech i.e. Sat nav and bits seem dated and is there any updates that can be done ?
I know the c8 is not far off what I had in the svr but not looking to spend £100k

I switched to 2015 rs6 from 2014 range rover. The tech at rs6 is fine it is not as old dated as it seems from outside to someone who never used it. I also have newer bmw and porsche with model years 2018 and 2019 and compared to those 2015 rs6’s interior tech is still ok. I think if you get 2016 and above the tech is even better.

My SVR was a late 17 plate car, Last of the loud versions before the OPF silenced them, so had the updated 10 inch screen with factory Apple CarPlay rather than the twin touch screens.

I think you would be fine in terms of the interior tech.

Even 2014 model inside seems fine
