Hello all,

I have recently bought a 2015 rs6 at 72,000 kms (45,000 miles). The car makes a slight humming noise when I take my foot off the accelerator at low speeds and rpms of 40-50 kmh ( 25-30 mph) and 2000 rpms. It does not do it in higher speeds and rpm. It is a noise like some valve is opening and closing. It is not a continuous noise. The noise occurs when you leave your foot off the accelerator and stops it unless you press the accelerator and leave your foot again.

It is not possible to easily hear this noise if the radio is on. I took it to the service they said that it is normal turbo noise. However I find it annoying given that I do a lot of low speed high traffic city driving. Is this kind of noise normal? Does anyone experience similar noise?

Last week, I found a 2017 rs6 performance edition and tried it. It does the same noise when I take my foot off the pedal. They say it is turbo noise. Thanks for the help.
