I have a 2016 PE, which is occasionally stalling immediately after startup. It is due a plugs and filter change, waiting for the dealer to get them in.
I think this only happens when warm - any ideas?
Car stalling on startup
Re: Car stalling on startup
I don't know about the specifics of sensors on that car, but whenever I've seen similar problems (on my car or other peoples) it's been a faulty coolant temperature sensor.
It thinks the engine is colder than it is so over-fuels and "drowns" at idle. Cold starts are fine and so are warm starts if you apply enough throttle.
Might not be that of course...….

Re: Car stalling on startup
Mine did similar when the engine was warm. Never when cold. It turned out to be leaky fuel pumps - easily diagnosed by smelling your oil. If it smells like petrol, there’s an issue. If it’s due an oil change, it’ll be obvious when the oil is out whether this is the problem. If it is, it’s about £700 job to replace both pumps
Re: Car stalling on startup
Thank-you all, it will be going in soon to find out. Thankfully under warranty.
Re: Car stalling on startup
Most likely to be the fuel pumps, I had the same issue, new fuel pumps cured the issue.

Has now been fixed, was a problem with a vacuum hose on the turbo.
