Morning guys hoping you lot can help me
My rs6 c7 2015 is breaking up / misfiring above about 5k rpm
Ive not had the car long
And plugged in VCDS and no fault codes founds
I was sold the car as standard but looking through it I’ve noticed it has miltek sports cats on it, so it possibly could be mapped but don’t really know how I would tell ?
If this is the case I had to put 95 in it as the only fuel station near me with 99 had ran out could this be the problem?

Possible high speed fuel pump on its way out?

Could be that it was mapped, that’s been taken off but the sports cats remain so OE map won’t optimise. Could be high pressure fuel pumps, could be carbon build up, could be injector spray pattern, could be plugs aren’t gapped properly for the aftermarket map that’s on it, or as you say it needs 99 RON fuel

Unfortunately too many variables at this stage, process of elimination needed.
