Hi I am new and have an Audi RS6 C7 2014.
Recently, when driving, ramdomly appears a warning on dash: "key not found"(something like this).
I replaced 3 times the key battery (Duracell) and still happening. As I said, its ramdomly (every 10/15 minutes, and then disappears).
Anyone had this issue and solution? Went to garage and they reprogrammed the key, and still with this problem.
Althought does not affect in anything, is very annoying the beep when alarmed.
PS: If I leave the key in the ashtray (near the sensor), it disappears.

I had this issue with mine when I first had it, I replaced the battery in the remote but it still did it, In the end I took the battery out of the remote, blew compressed air into it and wiped the contacts with a cotton bud, refitted the battery and it had been fine ever since. Where are you keeping the key whilst driving? Is there anything electronic near it that could be blocking the signal?

I usually keep in my pants bag. And no eletronic devices near.
But noticed that when my hand are resting and covering the pants bag, occurs more frequently.
Tested on both keys.
I know its a weak signal because when the key is near the sensor, it does not happens.

Other information: when I bought the car, the second day I installed a carplay. May this device interfering the antenna?
I know there is an antenna inside the console. I arranged the cables to not block it, but no success.
And dont know if this issue was before.

I guess a simple way to check would be to disconnect the carplay?
