Returning with New RS

Definitely not new to the forum having been around since the very early days with an S3 and then a much loved and moderately modified B5 RS4 but family and children rather knocked all that on the head for a while. Sold the last RS in 2007 since when I've been through a number of more 'sensible' 3.0Tdi Quattros- A5, A6 and A7. However, it was only a matter of time before I had to return to the fold. Like many others I had to chose the car that can do it all. So in March I finally bought my 2017 RS6 PE. I hunted around for a quite a while to find the right car for me. There were plenty around with money being knocked off as lockdown loomed and the C8 demonstrators turned up on forecourts. Certainly enough to be picky about low mileage, condition, spec and colour. My RS4 was 'noggie' so this rather unusual sprint blue 6 caught my eye. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea colour-wise and definitely not stealth but I love it. Very very happy with the car 6 months on.......it's good to be back
