Hi,

Anyone had problem with rs6 c7 just cutting off? Was downshifting to slow down but the car ended up dying while rolling, when i try to start the car it only cranks.

Checked the fault codes and i have on p0089. Could the high pressure fuel pump make it not start?

Car is 2015 with downpipes and stage2 so no warranty on the car :(

Def sounds like a fuel problem - could be HPFP but as there are two of then I doubt it.

Have you checked the fuses on the fuel system?? Engine Compartment Fuse 7, and Drivers side fuse box 26 would be worth checking

Havent checked any fuses, i managed to get it to start and idle after letting it cool down for some hours however when i tried to move the car it started to run like <beep> again and wont start again. Now i also got missfire on cylinder 6 & 8.

Currently faultcodes showing:

P0089 HPFP Performance problem

P0300
P0308 CYL 8 MISSFIRE
P0306 CYL 6 MISSFIRE

I'd get it trailered to a specialist - preferably the one that mapped it.

Be very careful running with a fuelling problem - there is a video somewhere that shows how these things eat their innards when the injector pattern fails.

Good luck

Seems like im not getting fuel into my hpfps, fuel pump is priming as it should when ignition on. Is there any fuel filters? Thinking if it got clogged so the fuel wont get all the way to the hpfp

HPFP part no is 079127025AJ £305.50 Same part no for both sides. The shaft can break off the HPFP so stops working properly. See the thread ref above. Worth pulling them out to check. Fuel filter is built into the fuel delivery unit/sender unit but can be changed on its own but you will need to remove the seat base and access the tank from the cover plate. part no is: 4G0201317B £85.08

Which fuel pumps? The HPFP are the pair on the engine. The only other item is the actual fuel delivery unit fitted in the tank? Is that what you need?

Yes, seems like it doesnt deliver the fuel to the HPFPs, my mechanic managed to get the car running after he found a connector in the tank broken off so the car starts and runs fine but will sometimes crank abit longer to get it to start
