They don't come with a spare tyre as the battery is in the spare tyre well to help weight distribution. You should have a pump and tyre weld in the boot though.
Some people have bought a spare tyre from a different model that will fit, but i do recall a discussion about whether it would fit over the front brakes so in the event of a puncture on the front you may have to put the good rear tyre on the front and the spare on the rear. They may have found a wheel that fits both axles though, I can't remember.

Thanks . I’ve actually got a spare tyre I’ve managed 3 yes 3 punctures different wheels in 8 weeks - 1pothole not my fault , 1 level crossing not really my fault 1 big kerb .. def my fault !!
Replaced 2 rears and get a half decent spare so will take that
If anyone has a spare rim they don’t want let me know
Cheers

Definitely through Switzerland, the drive around Lucerne is epic and you definitely need to have her in Dynamic through the Gotthard tunnel. Be sure to make her pop and bang a bit!

Why not just take a space saver wheel and tyre? They drop straight into the wheel well. The car already has a jack and wrench in the boot area, so you are good to go.

Is that not strictly true?

If you run 285/30/21. And the spare 20 inch runs 275/35/20 then the circumference is about 12mm difference. With a Speedo error of 0.55% which makes the difference less then 3 new tyres and one close to the legal limit.

I appreciate that it’s not ideal. But when in a pickle wont upset the Traction or stability control. Nor will it adversely effect the diff.

In saying all that. I’m new to the Audi and Quattro system. And this is just by going from the will they fit website and utilising Engineering knowledge. So I’m more than happy to be schooled if I’m wrong.

Craig.

OK - Craigs calcs are right, but I still wouldn't recommend doing it!

Generally they don't even recommend significantly different wear tyres across an axle because it will tend to wind up the diff, but I guess you could get away with it in an emergency until you can get a new tyre.

Personally I just take a spare tyre (not rim) and rely on assistance to get me to somewhere that could fit it.

Don't even bother with the goo - in my experience on the C5 the wheel shreds the sidewall in a couple of revolutions at which point there's no point!

Indeed on the goo tried it didn’t work at all

Think it will be spare tyre and hope it happens in working opening hours ..!

If anyone does have a 21 rim any type lying around that they don’t mind renting for couple weeks let me know .

Cheers

Sorry for the delay, just got back to the forum after the weekend.
The spacesaver is: T145/60 R20.
I got mine off eBay from a breaker - it is the same spacesaver as is fitted to many A6 cars, so easily available. It was listed as "never used" and, indeed had not been. I bought mine in 2016 for £140. At the time, I religiously checked the rolling diameter to ensure it matched my 285/21" wheels accurately enough to not be an issue. I think RS6s come with this exact space saver in some countries.
It fitted straight into the boot.
I also bought a storage bag to put the full-size wheel into should I have to put it in the boot. That is on eBay described as "SPARE WHEEL TYRE STORAGE CARRY BAG COVER 14''-20'' 285mm width SINGLE" for £9.
I can't quite remember, but I think I needed to top up the toolkit with a couple of tools to assist easy changing (wheel wedges, better bolt wrench...?).
