Active Suspension Control - RS6 C7 2017 on Stock Air

Post by Paddski » Mon Jun 08, 2020 6:43 pm

Hi

Not long had my 2017 RS6 C7 Performance and already looking to space wheels and lower. Rather than going down the usual route I have been looking into active suspension lowering modules and wanted to ask if anybody has these or has exp of them?

I am going to be putting 15mm spacers on rear and 12mm on the front

Here are the links to the two modules I have found:

https://www.ak-racing-47.com/epages/820 ... cts%2F1912

https://www.active-sound.eu/en/audi/aud ... suspension

Thanks
Paddy

Hi mate,

I have the milltek suspension module in mine. I like as it give me full control over the height and allows me to lower to how I want it rather than being stuck with what is offered. £500 well spent in my opinion.
Top pic is in comfort, next is dynamic lowered 15mm front and 10mm rear lower than stock dynamic, and bottom is show mode which is an option given by the module all controlled via an app on my phone.

I can’t see the front of the car but if you have ACC(radar cruise) you can only lower it a tiny bit, I think 20mm before you’ll get ACC warnings on the DIS constantly as it goes too low for it to work properly. Otherwise you’re good to go!

I had ACC and mine was lowered by 40mm for 3 years with no warnings or re-calibration and worked correctly the whole time. It DRC rather than air but don't think that will affect the ACC.

Sorry not sure why it didn't upload.

Here's a different one showing the top with the show mode, 55mm drop and bottom with the 15mm front and 10mm rear.
These drops are on top of the already stock values, if that makes sense.
Apologies if there not as clear as you'd hoped.

I just checked your photos... No you don't have it. It looks like a couple of round black foglights in the side grills.

CT PE?

Yes that is my car.
Currently fitted with 20mm spacer front 25mm spacer rear, lowered 15mm front and 10mm rear in dynamic mode.
Had 20mm all round and I am thinking of going back to that. I need to be careful with the rear as I find driving with anything lower than 20-25mm and it rubs, hence why I'm thinking of fitting the 20mm back into the rear. Roads in Northern Ireland are crap!!!

Ps driveway is not level.
