Photos Of Your Front End

Post by RS6 Cat » Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:08 pm

I’ve got a Daytona Grey FL and kind of scratching my head what to do with the front end, not sure if the aluminium look or gloss black is best, black or chrome logo, front lip spoiler options?
Does the gloss black take away the ‘RS’ look or does it make it more aggressive etc.
Hopefully you guys can help with some ideas of what ticks the box for you?
Here are some I’ve been looking at.

Here's some of my old car in various configurations of grill colour and with and without front lip spoiler.

Hi RS6 Cat,

Personally I think the black pack makes the car look more agressive BUT I only think this works if everything is black i.e grill surround, splitters, wingmirrors, window surrounds and roof rails. Then depending on the colour, black badges\rings (but I do think the black badges and rings can look a bit too 'G' and not OEM). However I do think some colours suit the aluminium look, especially if they have silver \ Ti wheels... Like that second pic you have posted which I 'think' is Nogaro Blue, to me really suits the silver alloy trim.

I was so glad mine was all black\carbon as when I googled the colour before I had even seen the car, a couple came up with aluminium trim and to me the silver didn't work with Riviera... I also didnt really like all black wheels, but I think on my car they work.... all IMHO of course....

Here's my front end...

Completely agree Lig. Some cars I think black suits, especially on black and yours. But I have the Daytona grey and thinking the aluminium would work best with the shadow chrome performance wheels I have fitted.
Its going in next week to either finish it all black or remove the part black wrap as I think it should be one or the other

Hi RS6Cat,

Can you post some pics of your car so we can see what you mean (and which parts have been wrapped)? I would also be interested to see your wheels??!!

Cheers,
Lig.
