Burning smell?

Post by gikseiman » Thu Oct 17, 2019 8:49 am

Hi all,

Does anyone have a burning smell after driving their vehicles?

Very light cruise , nothing crazy no high revs, no crazy acceleration.

After turning off the engine, there is always a whiff of burning?!!

Thanks

Never experienced that.. could it be something stuck to your exhaust and burning off?

Have you popped open the bonnet after a drive to see if it is stronger under there and if there is any visible smoke???

If it doesn't go away then I would get it checked out?!

Couldn't see anything obvious on the exhaust. Will check under bonnet. Still in warranty, so might just book in and ask them to check!

Yeah, if its been doing it for a while then I would get it checked out.

But if not then I would give it a few miles to see if its just something on the exhaust that needs to burn off??!!

Keep us updated!

Cheers,
Lig.
