Front Number Plate Mount

Morning all,
I have not had a front number plate since I picked the car up last week as I have been waiting for SCC to send one through.

It arrived this morning and is the cheapest piece of tat I have ever seen and not genuine Audi OEM. Looking quickly on line they are going for £99.00 (yes £99.00) which is a joke. Anyone seen any after market options that look good?

The reason for not having the mount is the previous owner had a 'wrap' number plate next to the nearside headlight washer and lost the mount.

Any thoughts?

Have you had a price from Audi for a standard one I thought they were less than £100?

Hi Shane,

I bought two 3mm thick pieces of black gloss perspex on ebay, for £7 each (custom size with radius corners). Fitted these (counter sunk the drill holes) on the car and then stuck my plate onto it. Yes it doesn't have any 'surround' (just made the plates a few mm larger), but I am more than satisfied with them.

I picked up these brackets from ebay work great until I get round to sorting the origonal mountain plate out.

Mate I got these from the same place on eBay. They had to customise the RS3 ones as they didn't have any for the RS6 C7 until I sent them the required measurements.
They've obviously added them to their list.

Superb job and very tidy
