Oil usage

Does you car use oil? Drove 8000km since last oil change and When I check oil level it’s is always at max, is it normal? Maybe oil level cap broken? Before my car always used oil and oil level dropped time from time I even needed to add half litre once. Can it be because I drove short trips in a city and now drive mostly long runs that’s why oil is not burning so much.

Car consumes oil depending on driving style, especially if you push it when still cold it will consume more. Be glad

For the record, actually the oil level should be one bar below max when cold and will raise to max once hot, but as long as you don't get a warning of too much oil, it should be okey.
*had the mmi oil reader, only works half of the time
long life the good old oil dip stick (get one to be sure at any time).

I’ve just drove from UK to Turkey and currently done 6000km and done an oil change before I left. My oil level was 1 bar below max and now its sitting on half way. I have been doing alot of high speed driving 150-190mph time to time and I think oil consumption is quite normal. However before i came here my day to day driving was town mainly and it did not consume any oil at all.
