Black Badges

Black Badges Done
Anyone thinking of changing the boot RS6 badge to black I can recommend the ebay seller in the below link (I have no conection with the seller)
The badge is bang on size to the original. And I can’t fault the quality
Saves all that messing with trying to get it painted!

Looks great, I have just found an RS4 badge he has for sale too, will double check sizes with him first though.

These didn't fit my FL on the front, I had to remove 2 clips

Just ordered some - were the rings easy to fit ?

Rings on the front, Pre FL. I carefully got a wedge under the front rings then slowly prised them off. Broke the clips on the original badge. But I was planning on binning that so no problem.
Rear rings. I carefully tapped up around the badge so I din’t mark the car. And I could get the new black badge in the same place. Took a bit of time cleaning the old glue off the car before fitting the new rings!

The R and S are too close together
That would annoy me big time

Spacing is exactly as it come out of the factory. The masking tape keeping original spacing once the silver badges removed. Spacing even checked with a vernier before and after. You have OCD? I think you need glasses.
