Afternoon All,

My RS6 Performance was stolen from my garage on Monday evening at 18:45pm. Wife and 3 year old were upstairs, 4 masked men smashed through my door and the rest is history. Gutted, tried my best and truly blessed my family are safe.

Car stolen from Cheadle Hulme in Greater Manchester and was later discovered in Withington, Manchester 20 minutes later, Vodafone Cobra Trak worked well.

Wow just seen the footage and its shocking. I live in Heald Green so im just literally around the corner from you .Glad to hear you and your family are ok. In the video it appeared that you were fighting with them just to stop them taking your car but its only after reading the story it was the opposite where you just wanted them away from your family.
Again glad to hear your ok, things could have been a lot lot worse had they brought weapons with them.

You truly are blessed that your family are safe and sound after that ordeal. I just watched the video and i'm absolutely shocked with horror and filled with ANGER at the audacity of these pond dwelling halfwit MFs...

Hopefully the police can make progress on matching their DNA to names.

What does one do in these situations other than offer it all up and say go on take and just leave us alone?

I was reading this earlier. Quite worrying as i'm only a few miles away in Wilmslow.

Half tempted to sell up as I wouldnt want to risk anything while my wife and kid are at home but I guess you could just as easily be burgled for other items.

Jeez, thankfully you and your family are OK - that's the main thing.
I'm not a million miles away either.
You did well holding them off for as long as you did and hopefully you're not too injured.
I would imagine that your car would have been long gone had they not been held up with you challenging them.

Hope it's all resolved quickly for you, it must be a horrible experience.

Glad the family are safe, full respect for your effort. Did none of your neighbours hear though?

Just spotted this on BBC and logged onto 246 as a result. Fecking brutal, hope all your teeth and joints are intact, 4 against 1 you don't stand much of a chance, just glad your wife and daughter were unharmed physically, hopefully Soco are able to get something at least from the C7.

Shame you didn't manage to rip his nuts off! When adrenaline is rushing you tend not to feel much pain though. Remember my mate having his car stolen and they then ran his girlfriend over, he caught one of them and punched <beep> out of him for a couple of minutes, the skinny little jerk ran off like he'd not been touched and my mate's a pretty big lad.

Shocker, glad everyone OK, total scum bags.

That’s a scary vid to watch. Unfortunately even IF they are caught it will be a pointless suspended sentence and they will continue to do the same to others. There is no deterent now. The courts are a joke and the police have no resources and moral is at an all time low. Basically the good honest hard working citizen is F####d. Glad you and your family are not dead as I’m sure you are all mentally scared for life.

That is shocking and admire you for standing up to them, main thing is your family are safe and well.

I'm sure if you make some enquires with the "boys "in the area you could find the culprits and give them a bit of a warning, i certainly would.

We were broken into around 2 years ago and pretty much wiped out, since then we have upped our game with the security.

Take care and take some time with your family as thats whats important.
