Negari Blue

Good morning

Just a quickie regarding Negaro blue, should I expect to pay a premium for a Negaro Blue RS6 with Carbon exterior trim? .i.e £4K premium.
And would this hold its own when I went to sell in a year or two?
Cheers

Not sure about negari or negaro. However, I can imagine the nogaro edition would command a bit of a premium...but didn’t think that came to the UK.

If it’s just a normal RS6 that’s had an Audi exclusive paint job - I wouldn’t think that’s worth an extra £4k

It’s a 64 plate, Negaro Blue coloured (not edition), RS6, with 16500 miles, all normal black exterior trim is carbon fibre and they won’t budge from £53,500.
Sounds too expensive to me and I’m concerned about the re-sale value dropping like a stone.

Yes, NOGARO blue pretty much always demands a premium whether a limited 'Nogaro Edition' or an exclusive paint job. This is true of all models of all ages.

I'm surprised at that. I wouldn't value it any more based on colour. It might make it quicker to sell but I wouldn't have thought it would make it more expensive. Maybe on a B5 RS4 but not a 4k difference on a C7.

It's particularly true at the moment as Audi has suspended all Exclusive Paint orders until next year (I signed the paperwork for a Noggy SQ7 and then found I missed the boat by a day!).
I know a couple of people seriously considering used cars rather than new now, and used prices on all exclusive colours (at least on up to 12 month old models) are staying VERY high.

RS2 and B5 RS4 were the best models for Nogaro

Overpriced for a 2014 RS6?
Just looked through all the 2014-2015 RS6's on Autotrader, I'd say with its low mileage it's definitely worth over £50k - add the Nogaro effect and it's not a million miles away from a £54k car.
Yes it's asking big money, but if I saw the car in person and it really was a minter I'd be OK with that price, but it would have to be absolute top notch which is impossible to tell from pics.

I'd probably offer £53k on the nose face-to-face if I really wanted it. Much easier to say I'll drive it away right now if you shake my hand.

End of the day, they are standing firm as they know someone will pay over £53k for it, I expect it's not their first Noggy. The average punter won't care about the colour but as proven by the existence of my club, there are a significant number of people that will pay a small premium for it.

It is an awesome machine, and Nogaro is a colour even none petrol heads can appreciate, my noggy’s always get comments on their colour from people who have no clue about cars in general, it’s usually the only thing they like about them, in their eyes it could be a Ford Fiesta but it’s a nice colour of blue 😂
