Hi my car is a 2015 RS6 and its done 35k it tells me i need a oil change in 21 days or 3000 miles and a inspection service in 260 odd days or 3000 miles i rang Carlisle Audi for a price and they came back with £446 for the oil change and £1237 for an oil change and the spark plugs and pollen filter done etc do theses prices seem about right? the woman on the other end of the phone didn't inspire confidence in me that she had a clue what she was talking about!!. I also asked for a price with me supplying my own oil at which point she went away and came back and said they did not allow this has anyone else had this problem? Im waiting for lake district audi phoning me back but does anyone have any other recommendations in the North west or north east I'm in West Cumbria if that helps thanks very much.

Not all dealers permit provision of own oil. Price is about right, though you’ll probably find other dealers differ.

Mine is in for the oil change next month and my local dealer quoted £350, but mine is now over 3 years old so gets reduced labour rates.
They are more than happy for me to supply my own oil. It takes 9.7 litres and the dealer cost was just over £150.
I rang their parts department and they had 5 litre cans of Castrol edge on offer at £26 ish. So I saved about £100! Apparently half price.
The best bit was I told them when the car was in and they said they would make sure it gets put in the car!

Audi Stirling have always allowed me to supply my own oil- you can save around £100 by doing so (I find Opie Oils to be competitive and trustworthy that the oil is genuine). My car is now over 3 years old, using the Audi site and my reg number it shows the attached servicing costs.
My RS6 is only at just over 17K miles so not yet had spark plugs replaced. As with all VW group cars, the "Major Service" cost tends to be disproportionally higher (imo) than the the standard service given we are only talking about plugs and an air filter. Changing the plugs might be a bit tricky on the RS (?), however for my son's Fabia the major service is also well over double the standard service cost and the plugs are very easy to change!
Also seems strange why Audi would expect any of us to willingly pay an additional premium to allow a tech to take out our RS6s and rag them for a bit!

Will you travel as far as Merseyside as Unit20 are RS specialists and will look after your car far better than a main dealer in my opinion.

I didn’t think these engines had cam belts, they are chain driven aren’t they? If so, seems odd for it to be listed in the ‘fixed price’ items.

Agreed- weird that they state a price for a cam belt change when, from all of the pictures that I have seen, the 4.0 V8 has a timing chain.

Mines in next Friday at Tyneside for oil & inspection service at 55k miles and was quoted c.£580 for both but since I’m supplying my own oil it is c.£400. (£186 for oil)

"£446 for the oil change and £1237 for an oil change and ,..."
Personally I don't think it should be half that price for what you get and IMHO that's a main dealer price!!! Sounds like a right rip off!
