Revo stage 1 and 2 are similar to the ABT maps, aimed at drivability which has resulted in a smooth drive opposed to out and out aggression.
Ive had MRC stage 1 first then stage 2 and did 32k in under 18 months.
With this car Revo stage 1 and now 2 set at 99ron. 5k appx so far.
Nothing has broken so far and based on locations and support, I’m very happy, 12 miles to my local Revo team at VAS Works.
The ability to return the car to stock within a very quick time has already paid dividend.
Not that I will use it for power alteration but Revo also offer the plug in controller to allow you to switch between maps or immobilise the car somehow!
I’ll see how things progress with Revo and how the next 25k affects it.
I’ve attempted one 0-60 so far with this car which was a quick stop and go without using launch or S mode, smoother was quicker.

no such thing, once a car has been mapped it is impossible to remove the digital trace of that map if the manufacturers so wishes they can find it. a tuner/mapper can do their best to hide this but that's all they can do anyone who says different is just lying.

Access to the ecu is recorded, what was on it is not.
You must know what this access to the ecu is recorded as ?

Piggyback systems are untraceable, if you remove it before going to dealer

Couldn’t have put it better myself😂 When mine went pop Audi checked everything even engine temperature at the time it went it was all recorded for Audi to recover and check.
Many Audi dealers will just turn a blind eye if you’re a good customer but if they want to check they can and they will find it piggy back or not

As above, that is complete b0llox.

The only thing a piggyback tune affords is the ability to remove the tune yourself, whereas a remap would need returning to the tuner (or them coming to you) to have it removed. However both methods will record tampering & altered parameters so still totally detectable.

Amazed by folk who still believe in 2017 car companies can't detect ANY type of engine management tampering!

VaG group don't spend billions developing cars for a <beep> tuning company to be able to blag there software.

Keep on believing the hype....when car goes pop cry like a bitch when you realise your tuning box company or remapped wants absolutely nothing to do with you either

Pay your money you take your chances....simples.

Every mapped car I've had I've took the chance cos I've got the balls to accept if it blows up I'm fucked...if it blows up and Audi fix it then I've scored big time...but expect to be disappointed.
