My RS6 is coming up to 4 years old and has about 64K miles on the clock. It's been main dealer serviced and has not had any problems (apart from the wheels getting nicked)

It is under warranty until the end of year 4.

I was wondering if anyone with a high miler like mine has had any reliability issues with major components. The cost of the Audi Warranty will be about £1,200 per annum and I don't know if its worth it or not.

My old C6 had about 84K miles on the clock when I sold it and it had not had any major issues.

Thoughts anyone?

Yes, peace of mind would be worth it for me.

Agree with the above.. £1200 could be insignificant should anything major need doing !

rabies ? - There's an interesting name; I have to ask, are you "the sixth known occurrence of human recovery after rabies infection", to quote the CDC MMWR?

£1200 seems like a good deal considering my experience of a £39k warranty claim for a blown engine with a three and a half year old car with only 24k on the clock
