Dealer rating; please score :-( 1 to 10 :-)

Splitting off from a related topic (Hatfield Audi - avoid like the plague.....really p1ssed off), it seems to me it might be helpful to others if members could use their FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE (not hearsay in other words) to rate dealerships in a customer satisfaction score.

Please score as follows :-( 1 to 10 :-) So 10:10 would be where you wouldn't want to go anywhere else whilst your car is under warranty. Just the town or city would be enough, how long you have been their customer and perhaps a few words (as few as possible and preferably </= 5) summarising ones major dissatisfaction/satisfaction e.g. (from another thread) Reading = 0; "X" years; (heartless with own staff).

I'll start, if I may, with:-

Portsmouth = 10; customer for >15 years; (friendly, knowledgeable, customer orientated)

Well.....I must be hard to satisfy as I haven't yet found one that leaves you feeling that a. They are interested to have you as a paying customer b. They want to acknowledge that by providing good customer service and c. Leave you feeling confident that they know how to repair your vehicle

Are you saying this already exists amongst "RS6 (C7 Typ 4G) 2013" or RS246 members generally? Its their opinion I value.

Listers Audi Stratford upon Avon. 10+

Customer since 2011. I have purchased 8 cars off them in that time. I've had warranty work/services and bought parts. All the team there are top class.

Listers Audi Birmingham. 0
Absolute baffoons. They wouldn't know their aRse from their elbow. Bunch of stuckup bum holes.

Aberdeen Audi- three cars
10/10
Customer care for me is exceptional. Great deal on trade in of RS4 B8 for my FL C7 with free tyre and alloy insurance, free gap insurance (not required but helps with their commission), few other little perks.
Wife's car fitted sat-nav for free and threw in child and infant seat for free for our pending arrival, at that time.

Any time I've had the car in they have provided excellent service and repairs. If I've been uncertain about anything I ask my dealer and he helps out.

Great; reassuring to know there are some decent Audi centres out there and they are not all shooting themselves in the foot big time.

Its not just some Audi dealerships that are crap though. Met a guy at a track day three years ago so keen to have the latest McLaren he bought one literally "sight unseen" for £170K from them. Under EU law that meant he could return it for no reason within the first two weeks of ownership. He said he found their after-sales at the time so awful he very nearly did just that. It was only the fact he found the car so incredible to drive that stopped him from doing so. Another guy I knew who bought a Ferrari Maranello 550 back in 1998, from Maranello Sales, London and told me the only way to get good customer out of them was to buy two Ferraris a year or two at once! I imagine that has changed since then.

Cardiff Audi - 10/10
Exceptional customer care - go through the bill line by line and see if I'm happy
Service Manager always comes out to see me
Free food and coffee at their in showroom canteen
Always get a decent loaner or whatever they have on demo

Cannot fault, other than its a mare trying to get a space in their car park!!

Not bought a car yet but so far my experience with the sales side has been dire, with only one or two notable exceptions, top of the list so far by a mile is Aberdeen.
The majority side put me off so much I would not buy from them on the basis that if they were that bad when they wanted your money I dread to think what they would be like if there was an Issue !

Having an email from Stafford Audi stating that your car is booked in for a cambelt change and MOT that will be carried out in 1 day. Dropping the keys off first thing in the morning to be then told that they haven't booked the MOT cause they're not sure if the cambelt will be finished in 1 day. Loan car is filthy inside, looks like someone has done the tip run and left waste in the front. Service manager admits they don't check the cars when they come back and says I either take the car or have to sort myself a taxi out !!
Get a phone call midday to say that everything including the MOT will be done by 4.30pm and to come and pick it up. Turn up at 4pm to be told there is a water leak on the car and the MOT hasn't been done. At this point i'm fuming and demand to see the car. They let me go and check the car out in the workshop so I can see what's wrong (i'm a mechanic by trade). Spoke to the apprentice who's working on my car to be told that they snapped a bolt and still tried to re-build it hoping it wouldn't leak!! The service manager was with me at this point and tried to deny it, but couldn't explain why the car is all back together :knob: . I said I would help them fix the car and re-build but not allowed due to insurance (they were correct to do that). Get told that it'll be sorted by the next day.
Next day comes, I ring at midday to check the status, get told i'll have a call back soon. Around 4pm I get the call back and i'm told car won't be ready (i'm about an hour away from dealership on a good day). I then email the managing director to report my issue, he calls me saying he doesn't like to email cause there is then evidence of the issue, and to email back proved he's read and knows about it . Another day passes, same scenario.

4th day, get the car back, driving it home and pop, intercooler hose comes off. Get the car home, strip belly plates and wheel arch liners off, take pictures and do up the jubilee CLIPS that they haven't tightened. Then have to check over the rest of the work. Rang Stafford Audi up the next day to tell them what happened, they say there is no way that would have happened.
I give up with Audi dealerships.
