RS6 real world range

Hello All,
Currently with a Audi RS4 B8 which I enjoy alot but every time I see a RS6 I just melt.
As it stands the stars will allow me to afford the upgrade to the RS6 (just about making the man maths work) Would like to get one before the production run ends which could be any time soon I'd imagine.
I've searched through on here but cant find it on here.
On a long motorway cruise doing sensible motorways speeds what sort a range shall I expect?
I know these questions are pointless and fuel economy doesn't worry me that much but its nice to know what sort of range you get between fill ups.
Thanks again.

Have recently achieved up to 30.5mpg on a trip through Europe at around 70-80mph give or take. More recently though in the UK I have achieved only 27.5mpg at similar speeds. Good luck with the upgrade : )

Mine started with 19mpg as overall consumption. Might be down to leadfoot.
Recent more gentle motorway work has shown real average 23mpg on motorway sitting at traffic speed (80)

I am running on a 23mpg long term average. The tanks gets me just under 300 miles in normal commuter driving

yesterday I achieved 315miles from a tank with around 70miles still remaining according to the computer. 3 up and that involved having climate on 90% of journey and doing some lengthy speedy runs.

Purely on the motorway I get between 19 and 27mpg depending on how many other cars are around. Sitting behind someone at 50 to 70 odd mph gives better consumption than an empty road. But in terms of range it get about 300 miles per tank, maybe a little less. That is without waiting for the yellow light to come on though so if you like taking risks you could get a few more miles.
On a side note I hate the digital fuel indicator. When it shows 2 white bars I assume there is plenty of petrol left but as soon as the 2nd white bar goes the remaining white one turns red and suddenly I need to find a petrol station. It is difficult to gauge how much I have left (ie has it just gone to 2 bars or is it about to go to 1 bar and go red?). I know I can look at the miles to go indicator but if I need to use 2 separate gauges to tell me how much petrol I have left then surely that is a failure of the gauge to do its job properly? Why didn't they keep it as an analogue gauge like the speedo and tachograph or at least give it better resolution!
Or make the last bar permanently red like it would be on an analogue gauge!

Yep, 300 and the light comes on (leaving about 50-70 left). If I am a good boy on the previous tank load, the car rewards me with an optimistic range estimate on the next fill-up. The best range-to-empty value I have ever achieved is 430 miles; the worst was 370 miles. Regardless, it's a 300 miles twixt fill-ups tank.

Over 16,000 mixed miles I have averaged 23. Long motorway trips can see 28+ even at 85. My record is 30.5 on M1 in roadworks.

My experience in 14k miles - real world range is around 275 to 325miles to a tank; having said that I did manage Cardiff-Cambridge and back on a single tank!!!! though was driving very gently.

C7 has a 75 litre tank (16.5g) £90-92 fill of 99
On a long motorway run back up the M6 from MRC with a full tank and cruise set at 75mph for pretty much 95% of the journey, the car returned 28.5mpg. The distance door to door was 425 miles and I made it home on the tank with a range of 5 miles left. So yes, it is possible that the car has the potential to break 400 miles from a tanks worth. This was barely spooling the turbo though and the drive was very boring.
28-30 is possible yes, but you wont be spooling the turbo or driving at speed to get those figures. You use the car at 85-90mph and have the odd squirt, the average drops to around 25.
Real time to account for all driving, I averaged 17.7mpg from new when I sold mine. There were short journeys to the supermarket and back without barely spooling the turbo and it was recording 11-12mpg
It's a big heavy 2t car with a big engine and 8 cylinders, it was never designed to be even remotely economical

I use my car 90% of the times for longer trips (minimum 250km per start-up) and mostly get 12.5-12.7 l/100 km (about 22-23mpg), and I drive mostly about 100mph.
Since I bought the car (13k km/8k miles) my average is about 19.5mpg which includes much gunning in the beginning days.

Are all those figures from your on-board computer?
Mine RS6 Perf is new with only 1000 km / 600 miles and i have a few longer trips but only with trailer connected. Last trip with trailer was 120km (75 miles) and the computer returned 12,5 l / 10 km ( 22,5 mpg) with speed between 80-100 kmt (50-60 mph), partly on CC.
This seems very low with trailer connected and its winter !

Im used to filling up around 300 miles now, as long as its broadly the same then I'm happy enough. The fact its cost more to fill up is irrelevant, just more of a physcological thing about the mileage.
Thanks everyone

Worst I've had was 220 miles to the tank (town driving, spirited)
Best I've had was 330 miles to the tank (driving on a mixture of roads from the UK to Ireland with the family).
I have not managed to use a whole tank yet without spooling the turbo
