Morning All - a dull dreary start to the day in Wayelz!!- least its hump day!

Car booked in for inspection Jan 13th - in the meantime - giving it some stick yesterday, emissions light started flashing yellow, then "stop start fault - not functioning came up on dashboard"

Question - safe to drive until service or would you play safe and get into into Audi?

Next time you start it no emmisions light...all ok.

The stop start malfunction is a default if engine management light flashes or indeed other issues....always defaults to not working.

Again....once car turned off etc re sets itself and al was ok.

Yep - exactly the same as mine, though this evening light has remained on!! drives ok

I have the same on mine this week, what was the problem? Was it an easy fix

Turned out to be 2 lambda probes (G108) that were replaced under warranty - quick fix
