Here in London am fairly sure there are a lot of posh car dealerships wandering what the f*ck just happened.

If they have unsold stock, possibly. But otherwise, doubt it as cost of the vehicles has just risen.

I think it's going to have the complete opposite effect. The cost of living will now rise. Non-EU countries will raise their prices to compensate for a weak £, and EU countries will add a c10%+ levy on goods being traded to a country outside the EU due to monies no longer being paid into the EU from us at a later date.

As Doodle said, with any unsold stock a dealer may be a up for a deal, but they will only do this because the vast majority of people out there will now be questioning the validity of chucking disposable income into an expensive fast depreciating item.

Yep, no doubt about it. Going to be a while until confidence is restored. I am in that camp, taking on a 991TTS now doesn't look so appetising.

My business buys a lot in USD and sells to a largely City clientele
Today has been sub-optimal....

I suspect Monday will be worse.....

I look after europe for a US parent tech firm. Today was unpleasant. Nothing to do with Brexit but a lot to do with the $£ splatter.
Dont need this mess on top of the end of quarter.
May be working out if I can lower UK sales targets and load them on the EU people

Oddly enough, this was the biggest factor in my over the weekend wobbles. I really don't think the medium term outlook for the UK now is anything other than positive, however in the short term outlaying such sums on a nice German car with which the dealer has £10k of my cash until March 2017 & no guarantee on what the car could cost come March, leaves me feeling somewhat more apprehensive post last weeks vote.

I've not asked about price yet. Has your dealer indicated that the price is moveable?

Whatever happens we will still be in the EU in March 2017 so the only difference in price will be due to the weak pound. However id imagine by March the initial drops will have ironed out and besides, main dealers dont change their prices with currency fluctuations do they? Once the price is set it normally stays the same until a MY change or facelift. Unless of course the UK proce has not been set yet.

I think this is unprecedented. I agree price changes usually come annually but the dramatic change in the rate will not have gone unnoticed and must factor at some point.
