Anthracite Grey 20''

Post by Needmorespace » Sun Mar 20, 2016 10:04 pm

Before switching back to my summer wheels I Plasti dipped them in Anthracite Grey as an experiment, improvement over the silver?

Not as good in the arches as the 21st but a compromise for the potholes around Aberdeen back roads.

They look great - but how does the coating stand up to brake dust? Or are you on ceramics?

Thanks. No ceramics, will find out, only been a week so far. The rubber can start to peel with stone chips but easy / cheapish to apply.

They look sick...you actually made me change my mind, I was constantly looking for a 20" wheel to use for my RS6 in the winter (that will come next month probably) and I really disliked those wheels in silver...in grey they look SICK!
So I will have them painted as soon as I get them and ta-daaaaaaa!!!

Thanks dude!

Looks good! Or should i say SICK bruv!

Do the 20s fit over the ceramics? I have ordered the PE wheels for resale, but am actually not a fan of them. Could be tempted to get some of the 20s and just paint them black.

I've had the silver ones on over winter and gotta say I'm pretty happy with them too. Will be back to the 21s soon enough though.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Yes spaced 12mm back, 10mm front via an MTM kit with extended bolts, no rubbing.

Guess 20s work with ceramic a if the configurator allows it
