Few pics of the Audi on its new forged 2 piece rims

Post by kavbhamra » Sun Feb 28, 2016 8:37 pm

Hi all

Thought I would share a few pics of my new 2 piece forged rims (hidden hardware so you cant see the bolts holding the face of the wheel). They measure 10.5 * 21 all round, however the rear has more concave to give the effect of a staggered set up. They were made and shipped by my mate who owns

http://aristocollection.com/.

Just needs a small drop then a remap :-) Going to be ordering the springs next week. I have the Audi sports exhaust from the factory but I am tempted by the Miltek :bigblink:

Nice.

What offset are they? And how did you know they would clear the calipers before your mate made them?

He sent me a template of where I needed to measure so that he knew what offset to make them. There are 3 places which you need to measure its pretty straight forward.

If I remember correctly the rear offset is 23 and the front is 27 but I can double check :-)

Do you not get stopped for driving around with no number plate? It looks so much better without one.

i think they look very good - like ADV1 copies?

Would be nice to see head on shot to see what offset and stance is like. I appreciate it's to avoid stonechips, but the wheels should really fill those lovely arches from the factory!
