Pic of R6S with lowered suspension

Post by V8RS6 » Sat Dec 05, 2015 4:44 pm

rs6-low2.jpg
I just had a set of Vossens fitted to my RS6 and am now considering lowering the car by 17mm...which is the lowest I can adjust the stock height by without fitting a plug and play.
Take look at the top pic which simulates this adjustment.
What do you think?....should I leave well alone and keep the stock height (bottom pic)...should I go with the 17mm lowering...or should I go even lower with a plug and play? (click on the image to get a closer view)

For me with those wheels keep it stock as the first picture looks too low for me almost into the arches

Good job I'm not you then fella.....I had titanium on my last C7, they looked nice but I prefer the brushed silver with aluminium trim....anyway I was asking about the ride height .....not the wheel colour

The top pic looks lower than 17mm, guess that's just because it's a rough drag n drop image. I think lowered is better, but plans on keeping my 6 standard height so I don't have to worry about speed bumps etc. I've had enough of that for a while.

Just to confuse you, I prefer lower pic (ie normal ride height)
Like the wheels too. Alpinaesque,

I think I read on here that you can lower the air suspension cars by 17 mm using VCDS, although it is possible to go lower still using the same method but it might mess with some of the sensors for the auto driving type features like lane assist, cruise control etc.
