Just picked it up last week, loving it so far but I'm in the van during the week so hardly used it yet!

Cheers lads

wheels are just cast wheels 21x10.5 all round, i was a bit worried before i collected it as have gone forged in the past but can honestly say they look great. And the 4k I saved sorted the other bits. Forged are amazing if your going for different finishes but satin black why bother. The strength and weight argument i don't get either on a car like this, I've had forged before and couldn't notice any difference when driving from weight saving or strength.
Anyone on the fence about detailing as well contact Adam at Revolution in Bristol he did all my G-Tecniq and would never use anyone else

Anybody any news on carbon induction kit for these, got to be one being developed surely?

I've been looking for a good detailer for my B7 in Bristol for ages.

Forging aluminium does make it a bit stronger, but the manufacturers tend to make the rims thinner or cut more from the back of the spokes to save weight, so any strength gain is negated by the weight saving.
If you're not looking for a marginal gain in unsprung weight, then worth saving the money
Car looks lovely by the way
Out of interest, does the heated wheel retain the flat bottom or is it a round wheel ?

It's round Graeme but dealer forgot to mention this so agreed if i wasn't happy to swap it once it arrived. Still undecided! Exactly the same apart from the shape
