Paying off Audi Finance very early

Hi there,

Am new to the forum. Has been great to read everyone's contributions.

Am about to push the button on ordering a new RS6. Very exciting!

Just hoping someone may know the answer to a Finance question. The discount a dealer will give you for PCP Finance is obviously much greater than for cash purchase. Am thinking of taking the PCP Finance option and then paying it off very quickly - a week or two after buying the car. Does anyone know if you can do this with Audi Finance? Are there any penalties or other things to look out for?

Would greatly appreciate any advice.

Will post pics when the new RS6 arrives.

Cheers

J

Thanks for the reply.

I couldn't find any details in the forum of penalties/charges etc.

Are you able to please expand on what they may be?

Thanks

You can pay back in the cooling off period as you can with any other finance product.

Equally you can request a settlement quote at any time. No penalty, though you should always check the t&cs.

Is it legal to offer a discount only if finance is taken? Or does the OP mean 'contribution'?

Aye contribution, which only comes with the finance.

Hi, I did the same, but just be aware there is a limit on the amount that you can borrow vs the early pay off. I can't remember exactly but it's around £65000 where you lose the option to pay off early. I got it sorted in the end but just double check and ensure you put down enough deposit to avoid any issues..
