Picked up my new RS6 today! I was sorry to say goodbye to my M5 but after 250 miles in the audi, I am certain I made the right decision.
I saved myself a 6 month wait by finding one in stock at Stafford Audi with a close to ideal spec. Mark there was very helpful.
Spec is:
- Glacier White
- Black optics
- Black 21" alloys
- Pano roof
- HUD
- Assistance package
- Parking pack advanced
- Keyless entry
- Hearted front & rear seats
- Dynamic package
- Privacy glass
- Sports exhaust
- Connect and phone box
I will Wirte up a comparison with the F10 M5 when I get a bit more time.

Ohh that's nice, I was unsure about glacier white on the 6, but this looks epic.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was unsure about white too (I wouldn't have ordered this colour) but am really pleased with the car.

Looks lovely Dumbo. It actually looks more like Ibis than Glacier in the opening picture. Glacier is a superb colour though IMO.

Lovely looking car Dumbo. I also bought my RS6 (now gone) from Stafford Audi and came from an F10 M5.
I agree with many of your comments on the M5 vs RS6 debate although I definitely felt the ride quality of the M5 was better in comfort and preferred the M5 interior. The practicality of AWD vs RWD was the main reason I changed at the time. I did miss the M5 for the "fun" aspect of driving but a few months back I test drove an M6 and was really shocked at just how poor the traction is in damp conditions!
