Car coming next week!

So after much research into the Matte paint finish and it's upkeep, deciding it was too much work for day to day use etc. I have gone and bought a Matte grey RS6! Oh, and it looks like it will be ready just in time for a 2.5K mile trip to the alps later in the month for a snowboarding holiday, just the thing to keep it nice and clean eh?

When I saw it in the flesh it just looked stunning, so the A8 was traded in and car should be ready to pick up early next week. Cannot wait. I think my fuel costs for the trip to La Plagne have just doubled, but what the hell, the drive down will sound so much better with the sports exhaust, and toll booth drag starts will be MUCH quicker!

Congratulations mate well done it is indeed going to be a very exciting trip with the RS6. Make sure to get plenty photos of it when it comes and all along the trip maybe some cheeky videos too.

I really like the matt paint.... Was very tempted myself and considered a matt vinyl wrap... As said above please post some pictures, congrats.

Haha, it doesn't fit at all, and even if it did the garage is already occupied by my wife's BMW Z4C. Occasionally the boxster gets in there too tho!

The matt paint looks mean. I toyed with the idea but I have to vist various construction sites with work and a short drive on site can result in the car looking like it's done a stage of rally GB.

It does look good though.
