Are you serious about the pricing for a generic map?. Its a rip off IMO.
Too much power is barely enough.

You would buy a £90k car and plug a box into it? Are you for real?

Good luck.

The OP probably prefers it to put it back to standard for warranty purposes, I can't see any other reason you'd want one. The prices are ludicrous, and from the MTM Cantatronic results we saw on a B8 S4, and mapping results of their C6 RS 6, I'd rather keep the car standard.

I suggest you buy a spare ecu and just swap them if needed. A tuning box on this engine does not match a remap.

If only it was that easy and if you can do this let me know how, we can market it and make a fortune.

you buy 90k£ a very good car and in my country you loose your garrantly with remap !!!

and secondly nobody can remap the rs6 because theu don t have bench powers, i don t want someone do experience on my 90k£ car! so i prefer a serirus tuning box / piggy back.

i have a piggy back jb4 on my m135i, and i am very satisfy.

remap a rs6, if you have an accident...you loose your insurance, i am not ready to have some problem. piggy back / tuning box you switch or not.

i don t see bad reactions on abt mtm piggy back, just to pay 7000€ is ridiculous.

do y ou have another piggyback solutions?

I am in the same boat. I have a facelift car on order and I am seriously thinking of an MTM box to take the car to 675ps. I am planning to take the box out each time I go for servicing. I am not very knoledgeable when it comes to tuning. How is a box inferior to a remap?

A box will still leave tell tale signs on the ecu with out of range indicators. Simply taking the box out each time it goes for a service is no guarantee that the car wont get flagged TD1. That flag effectively means the warranty is shot.

It is beyond me why somebody thinks they can stick a box into a car to push it beyond the manufacturers specifications, and then if the worst happens, simply remove the box and expect the manufacturer to pick up the bill.

I will have to do more research on the subject. I doubt the ABT and MTM solutions are similar to the crude piggyback boxes you get on eBay. After all they are probably the two most reputable Audi tuners.

As for the warranty Audi have no problems charging 140k Euros for an RS6 and giving you only two years warranty as standard...come on you almost made me shed a tear for them
