How far per tank?

Hi all,

After having an extended test drive of the RS6, I am very tempted to pick one up. As it would be to replace my A8, it will need to be used for a few long trips to the continent for ski holidays etc. Can anyone give me any ideas of how far I can expect to get per tank of fuel? At the moment I can get 6-700miles per tank, but would be interested to see how many more stops I may have to make, as it's quite a long way from Glasgow to the Alps!

Work on the basis of double. It'll do 300-350, less if the loud pedal spends more time depressed.

I thought that would be the case to be honest, just thought I'd see what others were getting. I'm not that bothered to be honest, I found the car to be better than the A8 in nearly every way.

Yeap, between 21-24mph average or as Doodlebug says, 300-350 for me too. A combination if sensible driving and some irresistible blasts.

1000 miles in and about the same for me. Have seen 27 on a really sensible day, but things improved yesterday when I managed 16. As doodlebug says depends how much pressure is applied to the loud pedal.

Are you serious? 300-350?

Wow, I am impressed.

Not everyone drives them like they stole them. They should but they don't :bigblink:

I get 300km per tank if I am lucky. Living in HK, 95%+ city driving, up and down hill, stop and go traffic.
