Audi have messed up big time!!!! Very upset !!!

So I confirmed my spec(went merlin purple after changing my mind several times) and then I had an email to say the monthly payments had gone up by £40 as I switched from rear view camera to parking advanced plus. However I asked to remove the autoglym at £395 and the cost pre vat of £333 for the rear view camera so pre bag the additional cost was around £500 ish pounds. I called Audi out on it as general rule of thumb is normally an additional £25 for every £1k you borrow. Hence this additional payment made no sense. Having spoken to the sales manager it appear my finance was approved on the 2013 model and not on the facelift which has different residuals etc. to make things worse it transpires the Audi finance system won't let them select the 2015 model to get finance setup for approval. So now my finance numbers I was happy with are incorrect and not only that there is ok way of knowing what the finance numbers will look like as they can't select the car on the system!!!!

Can any of you guys who have ordered a facelift car on Audi finance confirm for me with their dealer that their finance has indeed been approved on the 2015 facelift model. I'm not sure if Audi are pulling my leg here or what's going on, I've paid my deposit a couple of weeks ago and sold my car so I'm stuck!!! Help anyone please

That's what I think!!! They have had a few thousand off me a few weeks ago and it's been no end of emails and phone calls to sort it out. I don't understand what the problem could be, I asked for the £3k dealer and £3k Audi contrib which I got plus 4.9% which seems like what most other people have got but the rest is a mystery to me! Might know something by Monday but I've told it could take longer

My agreement with my dealer was that they would shoulder the additional cost between my original order and the FL one (if any - as it wasn't known at the time 100%) so my finance numbers won't be changing. Effectively I'm getting an increased contribution from the dealer.

Would push your dealer to do the same - albeit it'll be a touch harder after the fact, but worth a go. Should add my dealer is not part of the Synter group (had enough trouble buying my current rs6 off them!)

I order from Synter Wakefield and really felt I got a great deal. It was not the FL model, but a new car none the less. Plenty of negotiation to be had !

I wont touch Sytner after a terrible experience with them over my wife's car, took the servicing and after sale care to another dealer.

The big oppo you have is to threaten to give poor feedback in the post sale report/ quaetionaire or call AUK in. I would have thought that threat would keep them honest and encourage some transparency. However your deposit back threat will focus their mind, you would hope±

Yep I don't like the service from sytner either. My M6 had to have several panels repainted twice after sytner messed it up first time then bmw took it back to the prep centre. Problem is sytner seem to have a regional monopoly on Audi and BMW in the midlands. I'm confident they'll sort it out but the payments on the finance could be anything. On the plus side I haven't signed an order form yet !
