After placing my order I soon came to the realisation that I don't really need this big a car, so have, after a lot of thought and consideration cancelled my order for the RS6.
The high monthly and running cost considerations also added to the equation.


Going to order a fully loaded Sepang RS5 today instead.
Had the new S5 and sold it too soon, so have unfinished business with the 5 series and love the way the RS5 looks/drives.
Nowhere near as brutal as the RS6, but I think that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Not meaning to sound like a vulture, but was your order a sepang as stndard? If so there is a chap who has just had to go for special paint order just to get Erlang who may be interested in your order of its not past the point of changing options? May save him a couple of grand and 8 weeks wait...

I don't think anyone really "needs" a car like the RS6, for menu want my "supercar" back having sold the Fezzan a few years ago, but can't justify one until the kids are grown up a bit.

My RS6 order was Prism.

when has 'need' ever been allowed to get in the way of 'want' ??

Fwiw, I thought long and hard about an RS6, but like you, I just found it too big for day to day life.

On the flip side, coming from an MB E Class estate, my concern is that it won't be big enough.

It's less of a big stately galleon that's for sure. But I think that's down to the massively improved dynamics.
