Facelift

Post by HYFR » Thu Apr 24, 2014 5:46 pm

Just read about facelift S6.

Seems Audi are repeating the RS 5 facelift mare.

Expect to see early C7's nose dive even faster now!

Small revision lift far too early in production, devalued the 1st gen ahead of schedule, pee'd a lot of early '5 owners off.
No matter where you go, there you are.

There's no update to the RS6 brochure, but there is to A6/S6. That implies no changes to Rs6, other than removal of colours.

Thats exactly what they said about the A5 / S5 / RS5 when the A4 facelift was announced, only for it to receive the facelift shortly afterwards as well....

(ditto the A4 cab years back when the A4 saloon and Avant went from B6 to B7)

Facelift

MY15 cars were open for order from 1st April so either they've failed to publish the updates or they are in MY16. Asking the dealer that question is like pulling teeth.

C6 Rs6 received minor updates.

It wouldn't make sense to have the A/S6 looking newer whilst the RS 6 looks 'old'. Audi will definitely do an RS 6 FL. Audi are whores, just whoring them out all over the place.

BMW did it with the E46 M3.... face lifted the rest of the range and provided a very minor "facelift", or "boot lift" (LED rear lights and a long strip along the boot) to the E46 M3

It never really affected the E46 M3...

What difference does it matter if the value goes up or down on the C7' RS6, unless your buying one 2nd hand? I for one bought mine in the knowledge that I was going to lose a fair bit of money, as I am sure most C7 owners did, so no surprises here, as long as I can enjoy it along the way.

Those of us that own one are happy as is, whether it changes or not as they are simply awesome and I for one could care if it nose dives to nothing, it wont be going anywhere fast. (other to Germany and back!)

Cheers

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
