You can't remove the evidence of the goosed gearbox. If you're mapping you have to suck up the pain. Not really cricket claiming on a warranty when you've knowingly caused the failure.
This is dealer specific. My C6 had an oil seperator fail, and a injector fail. Both of these could be caused by the map, crawley audi were aware of the map but still authorised 1k of work for the oil seperator to be fixed by mondial.

His words to me were, although it has been tuned we cant conclusively confirm that that was the cause of the failure, it could of contributed to it but we cant be sure. These are probably few and far between, but i know Jack Barlcay is also reasonable when it comes to mapped cars.

Yeah and in this scenario with the prop shaft, the car has only been mapped for 1 week, could the extra strain really accelerate wear on the prop shaft so drastically in one week?

Hard to know for sure...

Yes, but, strictly speaking the warranty covers the car as it left the factory. You cannot warrant something you did not supply. There will be friendly dealers, but, that's their risk, and they certainly aren't obliged to bend over.

Mondial no longer cover the extended warranty, now VAG so I'd expect any claim to be handled as it is for the factory warranty where a lot more questions will be asked.

Don't have figures because not put on a Dyno. I would rate the tune 7/10. It's quicker, sharper but it gets confused sometimes when driving, like a bit of jerking and not smooth driving unless you are driving it perfectly. Hard to explain but it would never happen on a stick car regardless of how much you play with it.

Major problem I have is that the revs kinda lag. So every now and then if I rev the car the revs will almost hold then come down very slowly. I reported it and supposedly they are aware of this problem and are looking for a fix.

Strange map you have then, Rs6 just with ecu remap gives 700 hp and 900nm, if map and company realible there shouldn't be any issues.

All tuners who map cars they dyno it lot of times to check everything then they go to run a car on a actual road with all necessary equipment connected to car log all data, only if everything okay company gives car back to owner.

So in your case maybe you chosen not right company or maybe ppl who did map not made it correctly
