Have you seen on yet? Audi were running them as taxis at Le Mans. It's fugly in the extreme, I'd really recommend taking a look!

How come?. That's close to 10% off the base price which given builds have only just started is a good starting point & i reckon you could get closer to £10k before the end of the Summer.

I really like them (oddly enough) Never going to win a beauty contest but not the kind of vehicle that ever would. Covered 800 miles over 2 days in a standard 3.0 TDi last week & was one of the nicest driving experiences i've had (as long as i didn't use the Adaptive Cruise which i hate with a passion).

Just noticed your excellent colour choice for the Porsche mate. :)

According to the Audi person on the Festival of Speed stand last week they are still working out the level of financing support to offer so more to come I would expect.

As per some others on here I was ready to place an order straight off but when I specced it up it was roughly the same as my RS6 - so I've left it with that I will place the order when they match the discount I got on my RS6.

A dealer somewhere was offering £8k off through one of the brokers for an order closed out before the end of June last Thursday.

Not been able to confirm build dates for any orders yet, has anyone else managed?

I'd also imagine setting finance given current uncertainty is a problem. They risk being saddled with a pile of bad debt if the economy goes to <beep>.

As per my earlier posts in this thread, residuals are piss-poor on the SQ7. Over 2yrs the total cost on a very lightly specced car is near £40k. So even with £6k off, it's still a depreciation cost of £33k. That's not a cost I'm prepared to spend for something I will have zero ownership of at the end of the 2years. That's a whole RS3's value lost in just two years.

Over two years my B8 will have been a total cost of circa £15k. Big difference in this economic climate.

Fair point, but was always likely to be the case with such a car. Very few £80k cars retain any more than 50% after 3yrs, although £40k over 2 I feel is Audi being as usual over cautious & I think the value in real terms but be at least £10k higher so with a £10k discount & £50k value after 24mths I feel the drop is more likely to be £20-25K. The SQ5 values Have held up very well. Our Q5 we sold nearly 2yrs ago only lost just over 40% of its value in 5yrs with nearly 80k miles.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on an SQ7 yet?

The discounts went away after the end of the month but coming back again now, £8,900 off through one broker. The man-maths starts to make sense at that discount.

Cheers,

Phil

Watching these cars with interest. In a few weeks, I think close to £10k discount will be achievable which makes the SQ7 a whole lot more attractive.

That said, just ordered a new XC60 for SWMBO though so my need for a practical vehicle has one again disappeared so back to square one for me.

Audi City London have got the first UK delivered SQ7 in their Showroom.

It's sat on dodgy 'tornado design' 21" alloys and finished in Glacier White with no black styling pack. It's not the spec I would have chosen to showcase a differentiation with the rest of the range, but each to their own. It's fitted with the Front Sport seats Plus which set the cabin off nicely, but I wouldn't' say worth £2k.

This bunch had that quote - http://www.broker4cars.co.uk/

I did a carwow search as well and that came back with some close numbers.

I'm guessing tomorrow being end of month is going to be the day to close if they are genuine offers.

Good luck!
