Hi Mike, I can't find the spacers on the Revolution website you linked too. Is that where you got ones from? I only need rear ones.

Drop them a PM or call them) on here and they will sort you out, they are a site sponsor so you can find them in the site sponsor section. Alternatively PM Virdee. I ordered a set last night.

Is that with longer bolts and longer locking wheel bolts?
I have a price for 15mm H&R black spacers, bolts & locks at about £120 per axle plus £10 delivery. I'm still waiting for a price for the 12mm.

Eibach spacers, removed today from our Q7....the car never had any TFR applied when being cleaned.

Will see what they say, but they need to be clear and honest as this is going to go legal if they don't because my wife has been driving this car.

TBH I have not seen anything as scary before! Shocking!!

WTF. That is horrific, no way they should be made of a material that delaminates. Any idea what grade of steel they are supposed to be made of?

This, for me, is why spacers are just plain daft.

I've put them on here as I hope that anyone who has bought Eibach spacers are going to check them.

They were bought in this country, through a dealer, but Eibach UK claim categorically that they haven't sold any in the UK since 2008. The car is a 2013 Q7 and they were fitted as new items, not used or abused. Does this really matter where they came from when your brand is at risk? You are the UK representative, deal with it!

The car is valeted professionally without chemicals, so can't blame the TFR. So no acid issues to have caused the problems.

Eibach UK's distributor want me to buy a new set while they check them out and report back to me. Well that just isn't acceptable in any way shape or form.

What can you do wrong? They have been fitted professionally, with copper and lithium grease. When the tyres are replaced or winters fitted they are copper greased again.

The customer service from them today is nothing less than sh1t and whilst I need to give them the next week or so, I sent them to them today, to look at them and decide why their product failed so badly, I am bemused by the 'we didn't supply them attitude. FFS, they are stamped very clearly Eibach, with the chances that they have been AliBaba copied, near nil, why can't they stand up and say, we will do the right thing?

We took one to a local engineering company, well known to those in this area, motorsport bread company, and they could not believe the delimitation. Suggested if Eibach don't do the right thing to just send off to TUV in Germany and let them deal with the issue. Apparently the :dung: will hit the fan properly.

Maybe these guys need to see the way KW and the likes behave and take a leaf from the way customer service should be dealt with. I am tired of being told that this kind of service is acceptable and its not, it bloody well isn't.

I hope that they will step up and do the right thing, we will see. In the meantime please check yours at the earliest convenience.

Cheers

Yikes, scary. I only ever use H&R spacers as they seem to be very widely used with no issues.

Another, closer picture.

The more I think of this the madder I am getting.

Looks like they have reacted to something. Have you checked the wheels as well as they are the same material?
A aluminium spacer against a alu wheel and hub shouldn't react like that. Alloy wheels can corrode badly if salt is left in for long periods so perhaps that's what's happened
