Yes. Change in standard spec may complicate slightly. But customer should not be worse off.

That's what I'm aiming for. Just carry my deposit over onto the FL and simply wait a bit longer.

As LED are standard, its now a toss up between going for matrix LED or opting for so wthing else. Though I think I'll still be going Daytona grey.

Had an email from m25 audi earlier with the following PDF attachment regarding the facelift models. I've had to screen shot the PDF on my iPad and upload the jpegs. If it doesn't work I'll copy a link to the PDF in the morning.

The quality isn't great. I'll copy a link in the morning.
The interesting part is it says tagged orders placed on wait list before 8th of August 2014 will be converted by audi uk to the facelift my15 model and price protected by audi

Assigned orders without build weeks it is their intention to get these orders built as ordered. Audi AG is scheduling them into build on a weekly basis. If any orders are unable to be built as outgoing my14 versions you will be contacted directly by audi uk.

Looks like I'll be moved to the my15 facelift model then.

What gdavison said some like some don't if the deal stays as is can let it slip. And until u see proper pics or in the flesh hard to say but that aside Chris I would have a demo now but not one I want either spec or colour there's something wrong somewhere. Also I'm going exclusive so not another for sale like it, only demo I would have now would be a Estoril blue with 21" gloss black and a High spec. Local Audi has one couple things missing but that's not the issue now has almost 10,000 miles on it everyone's driven it been thrashed and the price is beyond where it should be so will hold out and try to get something sorted and speak to dealer Over weekend if not will be on the hunt for something else,. And yeah the rear looks a bit weird could be pics ?? Or me but diffuser looks a tad different spoiler doesn't seem to come out as much and overall looks a bit different but well have to wait and see, Fingers crossed just lights.

Would dearly like that PDF as soon as possible, as it would suggest that Audi UK were bare faced lying to my dealer today.

It would also suggest open for orders next week! I'm actually away on holiday but will be speccing up the car and getting the order in over phone/email if that is the case.

I have a feeling my dealer will be none too impressed when he sees this from Audi dated today after he was give the metaphorical shrugging of shoulders and denying all knowledge today.

Chesterfield that's going to be an interesting chat hahaha. My dealer was the same I know they closer books what's taking so long first a while back mentioned the same as everyone, then after spoke couple days ago its a delay due to your exclusive paint not sure if still available. They either don't get told anything briefed or updated or they're really good at playing dumb and ohh if it wasn't available I could have Estoril blue which was dicountinued months ago.

I think its Audi UK just not bothering to keep dealers in the loop at all.

They simply don't realise that when it comes to high end cars like the RS6, the customer will often have more knowledge on the product than the dealer. And they certainly won't have the wool pulled over their eyes when it comes to product refreshes etc.

We all talk on forums, there are contacts from within Audi, and people scour the internet looking for more information on the car they have ordered.

If Audi UK didn't expect people with RS6's on order to know about the update in the German site within about 4 nano seconds of it being posted, they are naive to say the least.

Well its going to be an interesting conversation now..

Audi UK themselves have posted a link on their own website stating:

More powerful, more efficient and even better to drive. Ask your local Audi centre about the new A6 range,

Then posted a link to their tweet stating the same, complete with accompanying picture of the facelift.

http://t.co/cAF8vyMWHy

Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing at Audi UK, or are they just purposefully taking the p*ss out of me as a customer?

That's great! :)

If I was picking up before the new one hit the showrooms that would be fine, but at the moment I would likely be collecting it when they had already placed the new model in the showroom. Not good IMHO.
