Do you live in a warm country or one where they use salt on the icy roads?

I live in Belgium, but my car was used in Germany for 2 years, so in Belgium we do not have real winter even we can run all time summer tires:)

I had mine replaced by Aberdeen and the new ones lasted less than a month before the black coating started coming off.

The coating isn't great, pressure washed mine last weekend and it has started loosing the black coating but that's happened on my previous RS's as well. Will either take them off and have them powder coated again or perhaps a set of carbon fibre ones

Likewise, I'm going to get my old ones powder coated and swap them over. Ridiculous to think a car at this value has such sh1t exhaust tips.

Just had a new set fitted. I am going to phone Audi UK and ask them for care tips - which cleaners, methods etc. (bet they haven't got a clue) and then follow that guidance assiduously. Fully expect corroded tips by the end of the year.... wonder if they will replace them under warranty, though, as I have followed their regime?

When they changed mine on a RS4 they just showed me how shiney and new they were and waved me goodbye. No mention of what products or how the clean them.
Audi just need to accept they have an issue with the tips.
