It was the aggressive 40mm drop rather than the 20mm option. Other cars I've seen on this setup look level so hopefully it should settle unless there is a suspension difference between the standard and performance versions.

Once you've had some time with it, i'd appreciate knowing if you think there is enough room there to justify some spacers. The front arch looks awful close to the top of the tyre in your photo!

Hey Mike Glad we could help,

we noticed some differences to the bottom arms and the way the anti roll bar mounts over the non performance models when installing the springs so there may be other slight differences over the stock models also.

The front on mikes i would say wouldn't want to run spacers either robf.

That looks great perfect hight. So is this the H&R 40mm drop springs? Be interested in your thoughts on ride once you have driven it. Presume you have to get a full geo done with lowering?

I like my cars to sit low, but I think the front sits too low, that's got to scrub out surely?
Don't you need to fit adjustable top arms to set up the camber correctly?

Big thanks to Luke and the boys at Plush for fitting me and and accommodating my drop off and picks ups (and now got the wife's RS3 for a drop too). Top guys!

Took it out for a spin and no scrubbing so far. Did some speed humps and had no issues there either.
There is a screw at the top of the front wheel arch holding the liner and I think that will be the first place to scrub if you go with spacers. Not sure how much wider you could go but I trust Luke's judgement on these matters as he knows all about lowering.

Andy, yes they are the 40mm H&R spacers exactly the same as Scott has on his non performance car which seems to sit more level.

Rob, I couldn't tell any difference with regards to loss of ride quality. I always drive in dynamic and it seems no harsher than it did before. Just for you guys I tried it in comfort and it was still soft and boat like so if you liked it before you will like it now still. I pushed it through the roundabouts and it held well despite it had started raining, can't really compare to before as I was probably pushing it a little harder tonight. So maybe a little more confident on the bends but can't say whether that was my confidence or the car inspiring the confidence.

I'm gonna give it a week or 2 to settle then take it in for a 4 wheel alignment. Based on how far out the front camber is I will then look at whether I need adjustable top arms or not. I assume there is no adjustment as standard for the front like the other Audis models.

Interesting to hear how there are differences between mine and other RS6s. I was saying to Kav yesterday that mine looked like it was sitting a lot higher than his when both were standard.
Luke, I know yours is a facelift but is a MY15 or MY16? I know there were some small changes between the 15 and 16 model years so I wondering whether that is the change rather than the performance and non performance models.

Yes mike of course, mine is a 15 apposed to the 2016 model.

Thanks for the kind words as well. Glad we could help with the suspension, yes the screw that you mentioned would be the first and only real thing to scrub, yours was fine on road test and didn't catch at all anywhere so we didn't feel the need to remove this.

Hi Mike thanks for the posting the pics looks great :-) I think on mine I'll go for the 20mm H & R springs, as I am running a more aggressive offset it should give me the perfect drop. I spoke to Luke yesterday so I am hoping to book mine in with him, I'll give you a shout if your local we can hopefully meet up :-)

Do you have any pics of it before you lowered it?

Does look spaced....I'd be worried about the state of my sills though.

looks like standard ride height and spacers to me. That would be perfect with a 20mm drop
