It's prob my own fault so don't worry about it, I don't have a personal FB account. It's in the name of a wee hobby of mine and they will think it's a business which is fair enough. Not sure I really want a personal FB account though.

Yeah, you were looking at the wheels. Fire a request in for NEA and I'll keep an eye out for it.

Thanks for the offer Marty but I got into NEA and SAC this morning for some reason. Result.

Guy in front of me with a very nice M3. He commented on how nice the RS looked, then started his M3 WOW not sure what pipe he had on it but it sounded fantastic.

I don't live in Aberdeen but working 2 on 2 off in the office and staying in a flat, just nipped out as the wife said car was making a funny scrapping noise from the back. I heard nothing, I guess she picked up a stone in-between the disc and back plate. Good excuse for a quick blast lol

Looking forward to getting my hands on my new RS6. Ordered via orange wheels.co.uk and got a car through Crawley Audi... It will be a long drive home to Scotland but I'm looking forward to it! Had thought I'd take delivery in March but looking on the 'yourAudi' site it appears the car is now built and in quality control... just as well I didn't bother to ask to change the spec when I was wavering this weekend :) If the car comes in the next 3 weeks or so I doubt I'll be able to hang on until the new 16 reg (and I'm sticking a personal plate on anyway).

Sepang blue, black 21" wheels, panoramic roof, heated steering wheel, advanced key + hands free boot, assistance pack, audi connect + phone box, front and rear heated seats, gloss black styling pack, HUD, parking pack advanced, privacy glass, rear side airbags, speed limit display and towing equip. Was toying with performance exhaust but dropped it from original spec - almost added it this weekend and found out today the car was built - I'm guessing work week 1 started Friday 1st Jan

The next few weeks will no doubt be very slow :beerchug:
Congrats on the order - had mine now for two weeks and having owned many cars I think the C7 is all things to all men - silly fast and handles when you want it, great family wagon, loads of space, comfortable cruiser. The spec you have looks great I know you will enjoy.

2015 SQ5 Sprint Blue - Gone, not quite special enough
2006 B7 RS4 Misano Red - panicked and sold big mistake

Many thanks! :D :beerchug:

The car is now in transit to the dealer and I'm off on holiday today and tomorrow... if it miraculously appears this afternoon or tomorrow morning I'll jump on a flight to Gatwick, if not I'll need to wait until the 5th March.

Great to hear you're enjoying your car! I didn't even get to test drive one before I bought it as I was still in a sling recovering from shoulder surgery... so it really will be a first for me when I drive the car back home :thumb:

Got my first glimpse of the car today in a very short, rainy video that Crawley Audi kindly sent me. :nogarors4:

:jump: :jump: :jump:

I thought I was excited before... Now I can't bloody wait!!! Only 15 days to go - bring it on :biggrin3:

Looking to sort out insurance for the RS6 over the next few days. Wondering if anyone has recommendations on insurers?

Read a couple of posts on the forum that said NFU were good (paying out to invoice for first 2 years on new cars - which would mean I'd not need to take out GAP insurance)... anyone else I should try?

Thanks in advance :beerchug:

I used NFU and they were good. I still took GAP though.

Adrian flux was the only reasonable quote I had for a modified car. The unmodified price was a bit higher than other places but they allowed me to still use my no claims that is currently being used on the RS4.

Howuch is it to attend? I'm one of the few weirdo's that don't have Facebook (loath it). But I'd like to attend if it's not too late!

A fellow weirdo! I'm not one for Facebook use on a personal level either. When I tell most people that, they look at me like I've just declared I eat orphaned children for Sunday brunch!
