OCD. OTT. I'm proper on it. In case anyone spots the exposed bolt heads don't worry I'll be grinding them smooth so no one can get a wrench on the plus there is one in the middle under the post.

Maybe a stupid question. But why don't you put your car in your garage pictured behind.
I have a post too, but in front of my garage door.
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3

Cause stupid garage is too narrow for the fat ass and its 4cm to short. Bummer.

No need to worry about them copying down your VIN. Audi, in their infinite wisdom following the diesel emissions stuff, now have a VIN look up based on your Reg. number on their web site! I had been trying to figure the best way to hide the VIN visible through the windscreen- no point now though!
